Yes, my kitchen is rather small but I still can create some really awesome food! I don’t have fancy gadgets or utensils but I have a few that I think are important to have even in a small kitchen. As you see in the photo of my kitchen I don’t have an American oven and it’s not important to have one to create a wide arrange of food. Below are some of my favorites. If you love and want them as well, click on the photo and purchase them through Amazon. The list will be updated as needed. Questions or need advice, shoot me a comment and I will get back to you.
No need to have a blender, food processor and immersion blender. I only use an immersion blender. The one I have comes with a chopping attachment, whisk, 4 blades for different uses, and wall mount. It chops, mixes, whips, froths, blends, etc.
Everyone needs at least a cast iron skillet. I bought the Lodge Logic Double Dutch Oven. The lid flips and can be used as a skillet as well. Bonus! And the price was unbelievably CHEAP!
Although this isn’t a gadget, this is a must have if you live in Japan. The book “A Guide to Food Buying in Japan” is a must have. The book addresses everything from how to read a label, perishable and non-perishable descriptions, traditional foods, basic language skills, weights and measurements and many more. The bonus: it costs less than 10 bucks on Amazon. Click on the icon below to order yours
